As summer quickly swims away, Zikki and I are finding ourselves nostalgic for dishes we made all summer long. For us, summer is characterized by lots of bold herb usage, fresh & raw seafood dishes, fabulous pita sandwiches, and juicy succulent ripe fruit!

Today, we want to focus on our favorite recipes this summer as the weather is already turning and pumpkin spice season is creeping in. (Come on fam, we still have two weeks!)

What are we drinking?

Stone Fruit Gazoz is something that makes everyone happy. It is an non-alcoholic beverage loaded with juicy overnight sugar soaked fruit, stuffed with summer herbs, and topped with sparkling water. This drink is joyous and satisfying!

Take it one step further and make our Limonana for your slushy drinkers! This lemon and mint slushy is SO refreshing after a long summer day.

What are we eating?

Crunchy, tangy, fried and seasoned with a kick of lime - these Shrimp Cigars are easy to make for crowd and perfect after a long day at the pool!

This bite is magnificent. There is a moment when the mackerel, avocado, and mango come together alongside the chilis, sumac, and labneh - to create something truly divine!
