- It's Date Night Baby!!!
Ah date night! A very important weekly ritual that allows couples to spend time together and reconnect. Sometimes our date nights are spent going out to resturants we both love and don’t frequent enough and other times date nights are spent at home cooking up a storm together.
We choose these three recipes specifically because they require some effort (which is so fun when you are doing them with a partner) , they may require learning a fun new skill, and they are just down right classic and delish.
The Agenda: DATE NIGHT BABY!
There really is nothing like getting your hands dirty together in the kitchen over a gorgoues bottle of natural wine! We designed this menu to be acitivity based. The best thing is? You can also just choose one recipe to make.
But if you decide to do all three…start with the Choco Banana Babka Knot dough and filling, then make the pasta dough, and finally the Caesar Salad dressing. After that, it is all about gathering all your ingredients and combining them to make an epic meal.
So today without further ado…
A tried and true classic that without a doubt will outlive all of us. Biting into big chunks of romaine spread generously with a lemony anchovy vinaigrette and topped with left over challah croutons and parm? My favorite. Every. Single. Time.
This dish is so crazy delicious that Zikki insist we add it to our spring menu at our catering company! Fresh pasta cooked with a crazy bright orange carrot miso harissa sauce and then finished with a carrot top gremolata. There is not much more you can ask for. Perfection.
I can already see it! You guys making the dough and rolling it out. Waiting for the little buns to proof while you make that homemade pasta dish and nosh on a crunchy Caesar because you just can’t help it. This recipe is worth the effort and is truly scrumptious, BUT if you are in a bind and need a quick dessert for date night…we recommend to make our Nutella Pistachio Crepes!
