Gingis, Let's Host Brunch!
Whether you are craving a savory quiche or a sexy shakshuka, we've got you covered!
I love hosting brunch! Always have. We are BIG breakfast people. Plus it is such a beautiful way to enjoy the summer sunshine, while having friends and family around a table eating sweet and savory dishes. Today, I have put together three of my favorites dishes that can be made earlier in the morning before your guests arrive in order to save time on cleanup. That way you get to spend more time with your loved ones during your big brunch party!
Today’s Agenda
Merguez Shakshuka Recipe
Dutch Pancake Recipe
This Shakshuka can be easily prepped before your guests arrive. Prep the tomato base and garnishes, then crack eggs into the sauce 15 minutes before serving. This can be served with fresh pita or mini challah (which you can make the day before!)
Bake this dutch pancake up to an hour before your guests arrive, and serve room temp with maple syrup and fresh summer jam. Such a delicious summery brunch treat!
This quiche can be made the morning of, and served at room temperature. The radish salad can be tossed right before serving on the side, for a tangy crunchy bite to pair perfectly with.
Bake the dutch pancake or merguez shakshuka in a gorgeously colored staub pan to serve family style on the brunch table.
Get a brightly colored linen cloth to add a fun summery feel to your hosting game.
Make mini floral bouquets in these amber votives for an easy tablescape for brunch.
Serve fruit platters on ice to keep the fruit nice and cool for your guests.
Have a rolling vintage ice chest near the brunch table to keep a variety of drinks for your loved ones to choose from.
Always serve a seasonal freshly squeezed juice! This season, buy a big watermelon and squeeze it into a refreshing juice for all your guests.
