Happy YASSSletter Thursday Gingis!

July 4th is right around the corner, and well - it’s simply a gorgeous excuse to throw a much needed start of the summer PAR-TAY. Whether you are hanging around the pool w. a drink in hand or grilling up some treats for your lovers, we have all the recipes you may need here in this week’s edition the YASSSletter!

So without further ado: Today’s Agenda!

Grilled Corn Salad

Every Independence Day is celebrated with a BBQ- especially here in the United States! It is traditionally a grilling day. So, next to that big roasted meat (or awesome Chicken Shawarma Pita) you plan to cook over the holiday weekend, you should absolutely have a salad! And what better salad than a grilled corn salad?! Seasoned with gorgeous flavors like lime juice, lime zest, sumac, and chili which make this salad a perfect pairing to any dish you make today!

Chicken Shawarma Pita

Chicken Shawarma Pita, is one of those experiences you didn’t know you needed until you took that first crazy delicious bite. Smokey grilled spiced chicken, creamy tahini, and a colorful chopped salad. Mama Mia! Pure magic.

Arais (Grilled Meat Stuffed Pit

This grilled treat is absolutely unreal. Satisfying and perfectly festive, it is the perfect dish to use up any left over pitas you may have from the week! Stuffed with herby ground meat, this pita is something you will taste and keep eternally on your summer grill menu!

Apricot Cherry Salad

When BBQing in the summer with loved ones, amidst the chatter about the meat everyone plans to grill, let's take a moment to appreciate the fantastic salad you'll be serving. It's a salad with a twist—I discovered it from Zikki. The combination of fruits in a salad was new to me, but it's simply delicious. The sweetness of the fruits pairs perfectly with the bitterness of fresh lettuce. Add some crunch with roasted pistachios and a zesty dressing, and you've got a winner. This salad goes well with meat, fish, or even as a lazy quick dinner option.
