Love to host, hate the mess?
Don't sweat it! Streamline summer hosting with these three "Make-Ahead" recipes.
Are you melting this summer? Yes, we are too so let’s make hosting effortless this crazy hot season!
This summer, I am very much into cooking for crowds! Whether it’s for my family (visiting from Israel) or hosting dinner for my neighbors, I need recipes that can be fuss-free so I can spend time with the ones I love the most.
These recipes are a secret weapon in my kitchen as they can be made ahead of time! There will be no mess during the dinner, because clean up can be done before guests arrive. The recipes we are sharing today can be served as a full menu or a la carte! This dinner party menu can be paired perfectly with a batch size of our Mezcal- Watermelon Cocktail or our Limonana, really ringin’ in those summer vibes!
Todays Agenda
Corn Schnitzel (Crispy Israeli fritter)
Zucchini Lasagna (Lighter take on the classic)
Gluten Free Cherry Clafoutis (French dessert to use up those cherries)
This is a snack I grew up eating as a child and it is simply irresistible! Crispy on the outside and loaded with kernels of sweet summer corn on the inside. This is the ultimate app to be made a day (or week) ahead, frozen, and then put into the toaster oven to get nice hot and crispy right before you serve.
This lasagna can be placed in the fridge until you are ready to bake, so it can take the fuss out of being stuck in the kitchen the whole night!
My Cherry Clafoutis is gluten free!! It can be made the morning of your party and sit on the dinner table until its time for dessert!
So Whats Up with Eat Small Plates?
Over at ESP we have been busy hosting celebrations loaded with gorgeous feast tables and incredible sunset views. Here is a little sneak peak into a beautiful shabbat dinner we did last Friday! Zikki and I are working on a couple of exciting events based here in NYC that will be open to the public. We cannot wait to share more with you all very very soon… so stay tuned through our Instagram page!
