Old School Italian Treats

Just like Nonna would make...

There are few things Zikki and I love as much as hosting friends over which is a seriously decadent treat made that day.The incredible thing about baking for a living is that I always have enough to share with the people I love most.

Recently, we’ve been doing a weekly dinner with our neighbors. We cook, another one hosts, and the others bring drinks and dessert. Ahhhh dessert! Last week, dessert was a delicious selection of old school Italian pastries from a bakery named Venieros in the East Village in New York.

It is safe to say, that this evening with friends got my wheels turning and I left craving a big homemade deep tray tiramisu. I have been prioritizing baking and cooking things recently that I really want to eat so this was definitely a #1 priority. Once we got the ball rolling on the tiramisu, the week somehow became all about old school italian treats. Decadent, not too sweet, and perfect for sharing with your lovers!

Thinking about throwing a party this summer? Let us help!

We are swimming into the summer with gorgeous new things on our menu. The latest addition? These herby fish kebabs served along side a spicy chopped salad, all over a bed of preserved lemon yogurt. Scoop it up with a charred pita and you are set.
