Happy YASSSletter Thursday Gingis!

Ohhhhhh Gingis, that time of year is here yet again and we are EXCITED! Thanksgiving is one of those awesome holidays that is celebrated by all Americans and its sole purpose is to remind us to give thanks to everything that we have in our day to day life. What are three things you are grateful for this year?

It is a beautifully reflective time. This year Zikki and I are celebrating our little family, our cozy home, our safety, and inner joy! Our little one is eating solids like a champ now and it was my mission this year to make sure she has her own awesome plate of Thanksgiving joy. For those of you who have kids or just want a simplified yet super delicious version of a Thanksgiving feast, we’ve some kick a** kid’s friendly recipes for you in this edition including the yummiest Thanksgiving Stuffing Turkey Meatball - first for your one year old, 10 year old, 30 year old sister, and 90 year old grandma. But seriously…Zikki ate most of them and T was a HUGE fan!

So everyone, without further ado - I give you our Thanksgiving line up!

Zikki and I really wanted T to experience Thanksgiving this year and I took it upon myself to create a little plate for her that features all the classics. Zikki’s favorite dish for Thanksgiving is stuffing. We wanted T to get the full feeling of holiday and that means - turkey and stuffing. But kids are not thrilled about plain turkey. And just like that the Turkey Stuffing Meatball was born. Loaded with celery, fall herbs, turkey and breadcrumbs it smells and feels like Thanksgiving night!

There is absolutely no Thanksgiving dinner complete without stuffing! Ah, the versatility of this fabulous dish. It really can be whatever you want it to be. We decided to keep our stuffing “close to home” - using a freshly baked challah and pears from the farmer’s market. Zikki insisted we use loads of celery to give it the classic stuffing taste and Gingis, this combination was absolutely delicious. Warm, rich, slightly sweet, and very simple!

If you choose to make this stuffing consider making your whole Challah the day before to use for this awesome TG side!

Gooey, crunchy, salty, and sweet!

A Pecan pie but make it square, add bourbon, and use absolutely zero corn syrup. This bar is so much fun. All year I wait until fall because it is the perfect time to add pecans to everything. It is there time to shine!

Basque cheesecake is one of my all time favorite cakes because it is truly beautiful and requires absolutely zero effort. This torte will have your guest totally fooled, thinking you spent all day baking! Perfect for a quick and dirty dessert, yet the most scrumptious slice there is. Now add pumpkin…and its game over.

Hope you have a weekend full of YASSS! Until next Thursday Gingis.

Love, Ben & Zikki xx
