Hello Gingis!
What a summer it has been - getting ready to release our greatest labor of [professional] love - our cookbook Eat Small Plates. We’ve had the honor to cook with so many incredible chefs this summer, sharing with them our love of hospitality and small plates. We actually just got back from a little trip up north to coastal Connecticut, where we got to hang with the all-time culinary legend and fermentation king Brad Leone. Stay tuned for the recipe video!!!
Tami, our daughter, had a chance to see gorgeous Bulga whales. She and I both stood in front of them in complete and utter awe. It was a beautiful and restorative week, a perfect way to end the summer and a perfect way to enter into the most exciting September of our lives. Pub day is only 11 days away. Our pub date is also the first day of our tour, which starts off at the Streicker Center in New York City, baby!
We are inching to the edge of our seats with jitters - so ready to meet you all and to get these recipes into your homes and kitchens. Before we log off for the weekend, we wanted to share with you all 3 of our favorite summer-time dessert recipes. No better way to close the summer than with a sweet treat!
