The truth is out…I am a munchies monster. (lol) But seriously. Zikki knows this better than anyone. I have an unrelenting love for sweets, especially if they are served past 9pm.

With that being said, I’ve also recently been on a health kick. Something about moving to the suburbs, makes you realize that it all becomes quite sedimentary quite quickly and one is not able to just “walk things off” as we used to in the city. I’m grateful for this realization because healthy & nutrient dense SHOULD indeed be synonymous to delicious, nothing less.

Today we are talking about the ultimate munchies snack…our Homemade Snickers Bar. We use almond flour for the base, dates and peanut butter for the caramel, and bright green pistachios for that nutty crunch…not to mention the dark chocolate and coconut oil shell - yum!

On March 20th, Zikki and I will be catering LAVISH, a wine-tasting fundraiser at Kaplan JCC in Tenafly. Join us for an evening of art, wine, and yummy Eat Small Plates classics as we support the seniors program.

To give you a glimpse into the evening…we will start with a large and bountiful Eat Small Plates Feast Table loaded with all of our favorites dips, spreads, salads, and breads. The bar will be open for wine tasting - and there will be four different stations to nibble upon. Whether you find yourself craving a bowl of warm hummus or eager to taste our crudo of the evening at the raw bar, we’ve got something for everyone. The evening will close with our dessert table loaded with our favorite Middle Eastern jewels & Rainbow Fruit Platters.
