Where We've Been

Hello Gingis!

Whew. We are finally off the road! Returning home from the San Diego tour stop was bittersweet, but that last event was just incredible. We felt so much love from our West Coast people. It truly was the most nourishing full-circle moment of this entire crazy adventure. Thank you to all of you! Thank you for wrapping up our tour with such a warm embrace.

We jumped back into "real life" for just one week before clocking out again for a much-needed family vacation! This month is packed with major life events: Zikki’s big 30th birthday is coming up, and our little Tami is turning 3! We’re kicking off the birthday buzz with a week of traveling and eating with family. We promise to fill you in on all the delicious details when we get back.

What’s Poppin' at Buba?

Just because we were packing our suitcases doesn’t mean the kitchen stopped. We had the absolute joy of hosting our friend Jake Cohen for a collaboration that broke the internet: a cream cheese bureka served with lox, pickles, and caper berries. It was pure bagel and lox YASSS!, in flaky pastry form.

And because it's just too good to let go of (and you guys won't stop ordering it!), our Apple Bureka special from Rosh Hashanah is still running strong! You know we love a seasonal dessert that sticks around.

Before We Go...

This weekend, before the vacation truly begins, Zikki is diving into a big catering event. She’ll be cooking up all the classics from Eat Small Plates, and honestly, we’re keeping you on the edge of your seat: What will she make from the book this time? Stay tuned!

When we return, we jump directly into the full swing of fall food fun, starting with the NY Food and Wine Festival (NYCWFF). We will be putting on a class teaching you how to make grape leaves, ma’amoul cookies, and other exciting treats!

Loads of exciting things ahead as we head into the third trimester of the pregnancy and into the full swing of being full-time authors!
